Joe England - flute
Jenny Lou Pena - clarinet
Nell Clowder - piano

Around 1990, three classical musicians met through their employment at Alpha Music in Austin, Texas - back in the days when sheet music was something you went to a store to hold in your hand and talk to the staff about. At the urging of (jazz) flautist Joe England, Nell and Jenny Lou were drawn kicking and screaming into the marvelous world of improvisation. We were later joined by poet Dennis Toprac, who performed the incredibly brave feat of improvising poetry in front of an audience. Unfortunately, the studio recording we made did not include Dennis.
